Please visit this wonderful shelter serving southwest missouri. It is NO KILL which is so important. It is estimated 25% of dogs in shelters such as this are purebreds, so go look, no matter what you might be looking for!

They are funded purely by donations, so those are always appreciated and can even be done online at their website through paypal.

They have a thrift shop next door, too.

Thanks for mentioning the thrift store! For those who don't know we accept everything except mattresses, major appliances, and large exercise equiptment. All proceeds go straight to CARE!

go visit care! it's not sad because it is no-kill. all the little guys in there are SAFE!!!!! if you dont need a pet right now, make a donation! if you cant donate money, donate time. if you cant do that, then click on zootoo some more and make more points!!!!

Thank you for mentioning the pure breds - we have SO many that people have abandoned or neglected. But of course, the mutts are just as deserving of a loving home!
