I was visiting family in the West Plains area a few months ago. I was looking to adopt a dog so I went to the shelter to see what they had. I saw so many that I wanted to take home, but only was able to take home one since I already had two dogs at home. I have never been so happy of the dog I chose! She is so great and gets along with my other ones and my cats! When I go back to West Plains here in a few months, I will be adopting another dog and possible a cat!
The staff is so friendly. If I lived in West Plains, I would volunteer there everyday. I did volunteer there a couple of days while I was visiting in the area. It is such a joy to help out with the animals! I volunteered one day at the cattery and volunteered one day where the dogs are at.
