W.P. Regional Animal Shelter has a great policy concerning the life of an animal. " It is not up to us to decide which animal should live or die" By euthanizing one so another can live is playing the roll of God and that is not our job.
They are dedicated to helping orphaned and injured animals have a better quality of life untill it is time to go to a good home or over the rainbow bridge!

Spaying and neutering is the key to the pet over- population. Just think of all the dogs and cats that are sleeping in a cold corner of a building or snuggled under drain pipe. They were tossed out or left behind when not wanted. Please spay and neuter your pets.

((APPLAUSE! APPLAUSE))!! For the comment made by sheila. I think that it is not fair that people are bashing other shelters, (mainly this one is all I'm seeing). I, too, believe, that the ones that are doing the bashing are not happy in their lifes so they have to make others feel unhappy. WHY?? I think its uncalled for, but I know, you cant please everyone. All I can say is Good Luck to ALL the shelters that are in this contest..
I dont know if its the same thing, but I gave several of my reviews a 5 and then when I looked it was only a 1 or some other number. There was no way to verify what you were giving until it was posted. I emailed zootoo to correct one and they told me they couldnt do that. I had to delete the review and repost it. It wasnt worth the effort since my comments showed the 5 I wanted to give. It just isnt a great set up on giving the star ratings for reviews since it doesnt specifically show until its too late.
Actually, that doesnt appear to be true. Check out the product reviews done on March 1st and 2nd and you'll see some that were good reviews that happen to have a 1 or 2 star. I tell you the stars dont always click what you want. If you'd sign up and post instead of just posting anonymous potshots you might see what I'm talking about.
