Pros: No Kill and the Rent a Pet program
Cons: Need more space
The volunteers at Stray Rescue are a very dedicated group of people. They pour their hearts in to the day to day operation of both shelters. Most of the dogs are fostered in homes until they find an adoptive guardian for permanent placement. The fosters go the extra step and perform home visits before a dog is placed in a new home. The rent a pet program allows interested people to take a pet home to see how they fit in to their home and family.
