Best shelter around!

Pros: Fantastic volunteers and staff

Cons: NONE, except lack of space for the animals!

This is the best shelter around! It is run primarily by volunteers and they all truly care about the animals! Its a no kill shelter and most of the dogs are in foster homes. They do home visits and check references to be sure the animals go to good homes. They rescue dogs from the streets that would not make it otherwise. Dedicated staff and volunteers and a true love for what they do, I highly recommend it!

I have been volunteering for this shelter for over 7 yrs. and a better more devoted group of animal lovers could never be found any place else on this planet!!!

All the above is absolutely true. Anyone adopting or fostering is checked out to be sure they have the physical criteria for taking care of a pet (enough room, etc), and also that they are going to really care for the animal. (No one wants to see an animal abused, but especially one who has gone through trauma already!). Great comment Tara!
