Pros: The volunteers are the biggest hearted folk i know. It's a no kill shelter.
Cons: It needs more space to house the sheer quantity of animals.
I read an interview with Randy Grimm. He is so brave and dedicated to rescuing the animals whom no one else wants to rescue. He and his dedicated group of volunteers trek out to some of the most dangerous places in the United States in order to take care of stray animals. The organization, Stray Rescue, was featured on the Discovery Channel. Mr. Grimm and his miracle dog Quentin were able to change the system in St. Louis from gas chamber executions to lethal injection. Though that still seems horrific, it is so much better than jamming as many animals into one tiny box to kill them. Quentin survived the gas chamber, thus why he's called the miracle dog. They changed the system to something a little more humane. His shelter is, no surprise, no kill. I would call this man and his volunteers heroes.

I REALLY DO NOT KNOW HOW AT STRAY RESCUE THEY CAN DO AS MUCH AS THEY DO. RANDY HAS A TALENT NOT ONLY FOR ANIMALS LOVING HIM, BUT HE IS ADORED BY SO MANY PEOPLE THAT HE CAN GET SO MUCH HELP TO DO THIS BLESSED WORK. I CANNOT DO THE PHYSICAL WORK FOR THEM, BUT I CAN UNDERWRITE HIS RADIO PROGRAM, SPONSOR EVENTS AND TRY TO KEEP THEM SUPPLIED WITH BLANKETS AND TOYS FOR THE SHELTER. WE ALL LOVE RANDY AND WOULD DO ALMOST ANYTHING FOR HIM AND THE ANIMALS.
