I recently visited Macoupin County Adopt a Pet with one of the volunteers. I was very impressed with those who work and donate their time for these animals who want and deserve to be loved.
The animals at the center are being well cared for....and they are monitored closely for behaviors, which allow them to be adopted out to families that "best fit their needs". Many of these animals have been abandoned, abused, neglected ..... yet they look up through the cages that they are in and want only to be loved and to love someone back! The people at Macoupin County Adopt a Pet have just that goal in mind! I am very impressed with their dedication and commitment to these animals.
