Pros: Excellent learning environment, great people.

Cons: Crazy cat ladies!

I have volunteered at PAAWS too many days to count. I have learned a lot about the veterinary field and about life. Working with all the great volunteers has been a truly rewarding experience for the last couple years. Although I decided to pursue the chiropractic field, the memories and knowledge I gained at PAAWS will last a lifetime. I only hope PAAWS will continue for many years to provide such a great service not only to the animals in need, but to the students who will become veterinarians and continue to help animals in need.

Oh Alex, 10 years down the road when you are working all the kinks out of all those old ladies backs you will think back to yourself..."sure was fun working with all those 'crazy cat ladies'", and you'll wish you would have stayed on your original path to be a vet...LOL :)
