Supporting Shelter: Oconto Area Humane Society and Animal Shelter

Pros: Only shelter in Green Bay Area

Cons: Everything

Horrible customer service, unknowledgeable staff, animals are ill and cages are not clean. Basically walk in and buy a pet. No background checks on potential adopters. Dogs do not get walked during 7 day holding period...need I go on?!

Actually the stray hold dogs are walked... Twice in fact per day. If you would like to criticize feel free. Otherwise why not volunteer and help the shelter improve?

ok so they arent perfect but a lot of shelters have gone to a short adoption process true cats and dogs are sick but thats every shelter and they do get treated there and volunteers and staff walk the dogs the only ones that dont get walked are the ones that are people aggressive i do agree its not the best shelter they need a lot of work I gotta say I worked there for 2 years and i loved it but once i started at the dubuque regional himane society in iowa i realized that bay area was sad kinda unless a lot has changed for the worse since i left
