Pros: very clean every thing in its place
Cons: not enough room
The Calhoun county animal shelter is one of the best places a dog or cat could go they are very well taken care of loved bathed groomed and eat like kings and queens i would recommend this place to any one who has no place to turn when they need to put an animal up for adoption

you know i have volunteered at other shelters before and i have found that the Calhoun County Animal Shelter the most down home a dog or cat can get the staff knows each and every animal by name and some of the dogs have been their for over a year and you no it has to be hard to get to know an animal and then for it to leave to me it would be like losing my best friend
