Pros: every penny they get goes to the animals and trying to make repairs
Cons: never enough money
I'm in this shelter every day of the week, except Sundays. I see every part of the shelter. I know this shelter is in need of a few repairs including: a new roof, outside runs, more cage space for cats and dogs. It's not unusual for animal control to bring in 10 to 20 pitbulls at a time due to animal cruelty. These animals must be kenneled seperatly due to there aggressive behavior. Then they're in the shelter till the court case is over. This makes the shelter in need of more kennels. They also would like to have a medical/surgery room . Ordinace for retrieving your animal in this city is your animal must be spayed/neutered before going back home. Having a medical/surgery room would help emincely.
