Pros: clean, animals well cared for, people friendly & informative
Cons: Would have been nice to have our new dog neutered on site prior to taking him home. That's where the makeover would help! :-)
We adopted a fun new friend just last week from the Calhoun County Shelter who is WONDERFUL! With that said, I had been going in for months looking for just the right fit for my family. Each and EVERY time I visited this Shelter, it was extremely clean and smelled clean, (which I'm sure can be difficult to accomplish at times with lots of furry friends present). Additionally, Lynette, Ed, Craig and all others working at the shelter were so nice and helpful!! They were happy to answer questions when I had them, and were nice enough to just let me check out the animals each week with no expectations or pushing for adoption. They were about allowing me to find the right dog, which I appreciated.
GREAT PLACE!!!!!
