I like working there, it is a very nice place to be. There are many cats and dogs. we try to keep it clean. we work every hard in trying to do that. We have to come in at 8:00 in the moring to clean out the whole building. It takes four hours to clean it but we get it down. The work is hard but everyone works together to get the job done. We could really use a make over to our shelter. the reason we need to get more cat and dog cages. In a day of work we need geting lots of animals and some days we get more. There are many good things in working there. The reason I like it because I love animals and i can't see why someone would hurt an animal. I feel good when a really skinny dog comes in then a few days later it go's to a new home to live. That is the best day ever. I love seeing animals happy.

I have been working at this shelter for a long time since it frist opened. I was there when when it opened after a couple of months. So I know what they have been threw the most part. We had some hard times threw the whole thing but we got threw it. Every day we are trying to improve the shelter to make it good for us and the animals there. But it can cost a lot a money to do it. This is the best job I every had. I helped out other shelters and they weren't as nice. When I am their I feel like a family. Like most most families we have some laughs and some joking around. But we like it. I never knew a job could be happy. I have learned more then I ever did at any other job I've been at. And the animals can be mean at times but we work with them to turn them around and find new homes to call there own. And it takes us 4 to 5 hours to get the whole shelter clean. That why we are so clean and we work most of the day to keep it clean. The shelter is my life. I don't know if the shelter was never around.
