Pet Service Review

The Calhoun County Animal Shelter is always kept spotless clean. All the animals are very well cared for, whether adoptable or being boarded for court cases.

The Calhoun County Animal Shelter is where all strays from the county and townships are taken. The staff is then responsible for caring for them, until returned to their owners or put up for adoption.

The staff at this facility is great at judging the personality of the animals and assisting a person or family in choosing the right match for them. This way the animals find a forever home.

I have referred many friends to the Calhoun County Animal Shelter to help find a new family member. Everyone is thrilled with their new pets and say they are recommending the facility and would return for another pet.

I recently lost my female german sheperd. The staff at this animal shelter have been very supportive and helpful in trying to find her. They have given me ideas to try to find her. While looking for my shepherd, another female german shepherd was lost and found, but wasn't my dog. I took her to the shelter, she wasn't microchipped and didn't have on a collar or tags. But her owners knew where to call and look for her. This sweet dog was back with her owners that same afternoon.

While at the shelter she was fed and housed. Staying safe and dry, not out running the road.
