SPCA is the friendliest shelter that I have worked with.
Pros: They love these animals. They are determined. They have a roof over the heads of the dogs. They are a no-kill orginization... I could go on and on and on....
Cons: they need our help for this make-over. Neccesities like towls, more food. There is only some much that one person can give.

SPCA of Southwest MIchigan is an AMAZING orginization. They work to protect and care for these unfortunate dogs and cats. The people there are so giving for the pets. They need help to provide everything they want to give to all of the abandoned, stray, abused, and neglected pets out there. There is a shelter, but a shelter can only hold so many dogs. No matter how fantastic a pet orginization is, they all need our help. I think that SPCA would be a wise choice for the make-over. SPCA is my kennel. Is it yours?

I think that positive mental attitude is what makes the SPCA of Southwest Michigan unique. For an organization that is constantly witness to animal neglect and abuse, its members are not bogged down by the cruelty brought upon the animals they bring in. They use that negativity in a positive way and completely focus on their mission to rehabilitate these animals and give them the life they so deserve.
