While they do help animals from the public, they don't pull animals from the animal control. The animals in the animal control need their help more.
They have animals that have lived in their shelter for YEARS! That is not good for the animals.
A family member of mine adopted a dog from them that was supposedly loved kids and other dogs. Three months after they adopted this dog they had to put it down because he bite the neighbor child's ear so badly she had to have plastic surgery.
