The Almost Home Humane Society (AHHS) is a private, non-profit 501(c) 3 organization dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals, relief of suffering among animals, and the extension of humane education. We are not funded by any governmental or national animal welfare organization and we do not receive funding form United Way. AHHS is governed by a volunteer board of directors.
