Anyone who's ever visited the Bloomington animal shelter will agree that it not only has a nice facility, but also (above all) staff that actually cares about the animals and tries to do everything in its power to increase animal welfare. They definitely deserve more funding and help from the general public, which would allow them to help more animals by hiring more staff, better preventing animal cruelty, raising awareness about the importance of spay/neuter, etc.
