Whether your puppy has lost its way or an animal needs a home, the City of Bloomington Animal Care and Control is here to help. A division of the Department of Public Works, Animal Care and Control operates the City of Bloomington Animal Shelter and is the primary provider of animal-related services for Bloomington and Monroe County. www.bloomington.in.gov/animalshelter

Established in 1956 the MCHA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission to compassionatley lead, advocate and educate for animal welfare through a variety of programs and outreach and is the primary fundraiser for the City of Bloomington Animal Shelter.
