I adopted two dogs 1 year ago, one was a stray one was an older dog both in need of love. They are the best of friends now and are very happy. I thank God everytime I look at them and see the happiness in their faces that Humane Society of Calumet Area was there for them in their time of need. This was the cleanest, largest facility I had ever seen. And every person I meet or talked to there was wonderful. We will return again when it's time...hope that will be a long time from now I do love my boys. In the meantime I refer everyone I know to their facility.
The older dog (he was around 8 years old) they had saved from another shelter when his time was up. Thank God, he's Mama's boy now soaking up every second of love he can. The younger was a stray in their local area, they don't come any sweeter.
