Great people, facility needs help!

OK, I may have some bias. I have been involved with the HSOV in one form or another for a little more than 8 years. I spent time and money there in the early part of that period painting, constructing and wiring the place for internet. More recently, I have been a board member for 6 years. I can tell you you have no idea how far this shelter has come in that time. While we have come a long way, we are definitely in need of a new physical plant. Sometimes it seems we are applying bandages to the wounds out there. Most recently, we find ourselves in need of a new water heater. OK, that's a fairly small thing, but you wouldn't believe the costs involved. A lot of people have come forward and have been helping the shelter with Zootoo's contest. I hope that this outpouring of support continues once the contest is over... no matter what the outcome.
