Review Details
The staff care about the animals and only want what's best. The downside is that they have seen so many horrors, some of the people can be a bit cold. They also want to help and are willing to discuss issues (food, where pet stores are, give list of local veterinarians, talk about their own pets, training solutions), but when they get busy they seem to have a hard time coping. This could be a under staffing issue. They really like their volunteers and are very nice. Dirty cages/runs are cleaned quickly and efficiently. I've volunteered there and have a dog/two cats from there. They just put a dog park which is nice to bring the community in and promote the shelter. It's bad because people have been dumping cats/dogs into the park.
