I got involved with PSSR when they helped me find my lost Sheltie. Within an hour, they were at my house to help me look, and with their help, we were successful! Each dog at the rescue is loved and cared for like an "only." All dogs are spayed/neutered and microchipped. Dogs are exercised daily, taken to groomer every 3 months, given total vet care regardless of cost, and placed in loving homes on a regular basis. Dogs that are unadoptable are kept at the rescue as owners' dogs to live out their lives or placed in foster homes. A farm setting with lots of fenced space to run, clean housing for dogs, loving volunteers who come on a daily basis. The owners have devoted their lives to this rescue, plus the owners have devoted countless hours to help find lost pets with a substantial success rate. Shelties and people alike benefit from this rescue.
