Pros: great community service, no time limit once animals up for adoption, privately funded
Cons: lacking PR
All four of my animals came from this shelter and I would not think of going anywhere else for a pet. They rescue animals from abusive situations and are completely privately funded. The state does not help to rescue animals at all!! They have such a great adoptions program that they are able to take animals from other shelters (who have time limits) in the Cleveland area as well as throughout the MidWest. If you are thinking of getting a pet, please, please please consider the wonderful animals who need a new home and a second chance at happiness!!
