Pros: Building is easy to get to, good parking and a very clean facility.
Cons: The fact that so many pets are there.
My husband and I have been considering the purchase of a small companion dog. One day, while in the neighborhood of the Cleveland Animal Protective League, I stopped in to see if there was a dog that might be right for us.
Well, I was overwhelmed! The staff was friendly, knew exactly which dogs to show me and were exceedingly patient and loving toward the animals at the facility.
That day, my problem was that I wanted to bring home all the dogs. Their character came out to touch my heart and ask I bring them home. Although I walked out empty handed...I was grateful to have such a wonderful facility in our town. I knew the animals were well cared for and very much loved by the staff.
The Clevaland APL certainly deserves accolades for their work with the animals they provide shelter for in our community.
