Supporting Shelter: Cleveland Animal Protective League
Pros: They are a non-profit dedicated to the welfare of animals, their facility is expansive and clean, and their staff knowledgeable and truly and integral part of the animals' lives that pass through their shelter and loving, caring arms.
Cons: As far as I'm concerned, there are none.
My kitten, Cassidy, came to me via the Animal Protective League and I truly can't say enough about the shelter as a whole -- they do humane investigations and remove animals from abusive and neglectful situations, they care for animals that come in as owner surrenders or strays, and they give love and dignity to each soul that passes through their doors.
The shelter workers and volunteers spend time with each animal that comes in and they make assessments based on what is best for those animals. The facility is immaculately kept and the staff are knowledgeable, respectful, and genuinely care about the well-being of both the animals in their care and the individuals who come in looking to adopt.
Cassidy has quickly become the light of my life and I adore her more than words can say. She is my best friend and confidante. I wouldn't have her if it weren't for the Cleveland APL and I would emphatically recommend their facility and services to anyone who either has an animal concern or who is looking to adopt in order to help make their family complete.
The APL brings light and hope to situations where souls have been snuffed out too soon and they give life to animals who otherwise would have none. Thank goodness their facility and workers exist. Please support them as they support our animals -- it would be heartbreaking if such an organization ceased to exist. I know my life wouldn't be the same without Cassidy and I will forever be indebted to the Cleveland APL for their service to me and my little girl.
