I used to work in downtown Cleveland and would visit the APL from time to time to see the animals and drop off donations. I found it to be a weel maintained facility. The employees and volunteers are very caring people who want to find good homes and provide education for the public.

They helped me with a feral cat colony near my office and they provided assistance in rescuing a cat who had been injured in a parking deck.

They really go above and beyond. The shelter has many cats and dogs. Most people don't realize they also have small animals and pocket pets.
