Pros: the adoptables are wonderful
Cons: there are dogs and cats
When I first wanted to adopt a cat, I visited Pets Without Parents. They have a quiet kitty room, as well as adoptables in cages. I found the atmosphere very "homey" there, the staff was knowledgeable and compassionate, and the adoptables were without a fault. (Of course, as luck would have it, I didn't 'bond' with a particular cat there, so I eventually ventured somewhere else where I adopted my first kitty, Hannah). I do endorse Pets Without Parents, because I believe in their cause, and I'd like to encourage people to adopt a cat rather than buy from a pet store.
