Cat Welfare is simply the most awe-inspiring place I have ever visited. The cats are wonderful and the staff is ultra-attentive. The staff spends as much time as possible letting each cat be his or her own cat---the staff know and love the personalities of their charges. Any cat who becomes ill is treated with scrupulous care.
Cat Welfare's Mission is to match up homeless cats with those who would like to adopt. They see to it that cats are as socialized and friendly as possible. I have two Cat Welfare pets living with me and I adore them with a passion. Cat Welfare is the reason that these lovely cats were not brutally killed when they lost their homes through no fault of their own.
Cat Welfare has a scrupulously maintained fostering program, which means that mother cats and their kittens are nurtured lovingly so that they will become excellent pets when they reach their forever homes.
Cat Welfare has many programs if you'd like to support cats and just feel as if you cannot quite manage to support 76 of them in your own home. You can become a Guardian Angel to one of the cats who has health issues that won't permit him or her to be adopted.
You can join and get an informative newsletter 6 times a year. Your contributions might go to the wonderful spay/neuter program. Cat Welfare helps to subsidize spaying and neutering of cats and provides ample education and community outreach on that all-so-important solution to cat overpopulation.

If you live in the Columbus area, come and visit! Cat Welfare is open to the public from 11-3:30 seven days a week. The only exceptions are the most major of public holidays and the first wednesday of each month, which is a big clean-up day.
I can guarantee you that you'll be impressed and that you'll fall in love with a certain cat....and then with another one....and again and again and again!
