Review Details

Nestled just outside London, Ohio to the west of Columbus, this shelter works hard to place each adoptable animal that comes into their care into the perfect forever home. Adopters have traveled from as far as Maine, Colorado and even Canada. Their partnership with the Fresh Start program where inmates 'foster' kittens, puppies and dogs of all ages. They are able to teach basic training, including housebreaking and crate training. They get to know their fosters and provide great insight into their likes and dislikes. This allows staff to better match potential adopters with a dog or cat that best fits what they are looking for. To have these once homeless animals be with a caring person 24 hours a day will help even the most timid pet to learn to trust again. Receiving very minimal financial support from the local government, they are still able to provide similar services to those of larger nearby shelters!!!

The animals at this shelter couldn't have a more caring and lovable staff! They really care about what they are doing!
We have adopted far and wide.
