Ok shelter

My only contact with this shelter was looking for a lost pet. I have never lost a pet in my life until this, yet I was treated like a horrible person. I was told to contact them once a day to see if my cat had been brought in and to stop by and look for him. When I called 2 days in a row and showed up to look for him on day 3, I was told that I was calling and coming by too much. That's what I was told to do! Also, the shelter was very messy and smelled horrible. The staff acted like I was a bother and one staff member went out of her way to give me verbal directions around the shelter just to avoid getting out of her chair to show me (which would have been quicker and easier).
