I've lived down the road from the Animal Control facility for about 16 years. Throughout this time the staff at animal control has been very helpful with stray animals that have made their way to my home. My family and I have actually adopted one dog from the shelter and have visted it quiet often. Anytime we've called the shelter they have responded to our needs. The only con I can think of is the ability to remain open on Sundays, living down the road from the shelter I cannot count the number of individuals who have pulled into my drive on a Sunday afternoon and ask me where the animal shelter is. I suppose they make their way to the shelter during normal business hours. The animal shelter is truly an asset to our community
