Pros: This facility is well ventilated for the well being of the animals. It has a large fenced in area where the dogs are turned out and let play and romp.
Cons: This facility does need updated. It really needs more area for the unwanted cats. Too many cats to a cage.
THe staff at the Hardee County Animal Control are very nice. They are very concerned about the animals they receive daily. I know that they are doing the best that they can do with what they have to work with. The facility is washed down frequently during the day, and it is never really messy. I recently adopted a wonderful dog from the Animal Control, and I would recommend any one looking for a loving pet, to go out there, and check the critters over. So many loving animals, so many irresponsible pet owners. Keep up the good work Hardee County Animal Control staff. You are making a difference. Hope we win the makeover for the benefit of the orphans!
