This shelter is very special. I adopted a puppy that had gone through many health issues in the 5 months he was there. Dexter is the most wonderful dog and is the happiest animal on earth. I can tell how much time and energy the shelter puts into helping these unwanted animals. I love the Southeast Volusia Humane Society because they helped me find my best friend Dexter.

I remember Dexter!! I volunteer there whenever i can. I am glad to hear he is doing good and has such a good home!! =)
