Animal Control is always the place to check if you want to add a dog to your family! So many deserving dogs and puppies are not given a chance due to the irresponsibility of some members of the community.
The dogs and puppies are socialized with people and other dogs, sometimes even cats! The staff and volunteers are very honest about each animal's social personality, and will let you know if they think they should be an "only dog," if they need an animal companion, or if they enjoy/dislike being around children.
The staff is well versed and helpful, and genuinely want to find homes or rescue for as many of their charges as possible. I commend the staff on a job well done and with a lot of heart.
