In Cabarrus Animal Control Facility off Hwy 49, just south of Hwy 601 - dogs and cats and sometimes other animals
Princeton's Meow - a cage-free cat/kitten adoption site - 29 Brookwood NE, Concord, NC - Hours same as shelter except not open Mondays or Wednesdays

The Humane Society of Concord & Greater Cabarrus County has had many great milestones. Accomplishments include the establishment of a low-cost spay/neuter clinic, a New Leash on Life program (dogs trained by inmates prior to adoption in partnership with a local minimum security prison and our own Animal Control) and a cage-free cat adoption site, Princeton's Meow, that allows you to sit and play or cuddle with a potential new feline friend (and even a bunny or two!)

We have a couple of dog runs in the Cabarrus Animal Control facility where we hold and show dogs and pups for adoption. Our volunteers have big hearts and willing hands and bodies that pitch in to keep the animals clean, socialized and ready for adoption.
