The staff at the Humane Society of Parkersburg take every effort to find homes for the cats and dogs at the shelter. They have a lot of support from the community and have worked very hard to get it. They have adoptathons four times a year as well as other events to get the animals adopted. The shelter is kept very clean, and there a lot of volunteers that make sure the dogs are walked and that the cats get some cuddling every day.
