Working with our county animal control, we help provide care mainly for dogs and cats, although rodents, birds, and livestock occasionally find their way to the shelter. Volunteer foster families provide a safe haven for cats and interim housing for dogs waiting to find their new homes. Our goals are to decrease the numbers of animals euthanized, increase our adoption/rescue rates within Campbell County, and promote spay/neuter of all companion animals. We also work to educate the public about the need for controlling pet overpopulation.
