Bradford Co. Humane Society is dedicated to providing shelter to abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in Ulster, PA by investigating and taking action on reports of cruelty to animals, and by educationg the public on the needs and behavior of animals so as to prevent neglect and cruelty from happening in the first place.
Our primary focus is on the domestic animals of our area, both companion animals and farm animasl. As time and other resources permit, however, we do work on broader animal welfare issues or on problems affecting animals outside our geographical area.
We offer a wide range of services such as: adoptions, a fostering program, volunteer programs for all ages and groups, humane education and presentations for groups, cruelty investigations, fundraising ideas for groups, spay/ neuter clinics and rabies clinics.
