Pros: Supportive staff who care about the animals
Cons: Small and very old building - need more room
As an animal lover, I have been in an out of many animal shelters. Dessin is probably the best one that I have been in. Their staff is friendly and knows a great deal about each and every animal that is brought to them. Even though they only have a small building, it is kept very clean and sanitary. I started volunteering for Dessin about two years ago and plan to continue. They are a great bunch of people and animals to work with!
