Started a family
Pros: The grounds are well maintained and they have great meeting/visiting areas.
Cons: I miss the West Shore location.

My family had four additions because of the shelter. We have adopted 4 wonderful dogs over the years and if it weren't for the shelter we would have never connected. We couldn't imagine our lives without them. Before we went to the shelter my husband liked dogs, but never really thought of having any in the home, until he met our first adoptee, a beagle we named Conner. After that he was hooked. Thank-you West Shore branch of the Harrisburg Humane Society.
