Review Details

I've never seen place like Molly's before. All the dogs are free-roaming. When you enter, you are greeted by a cavalcade of smiling faces. It is so much easier to find the right pet for you when you can see it in its home environment. At other shelters you can take a dog out of a cage for 10 minutes, where they are either so excited to be out, or scared out of their minds. The free-roaming floor at Molly's lets you see how the animal is with other dogs, people, kids, even cats. You get a much better since of their personality and can make a much more informed decision about who would be the right pet for you.

Their second positive attribute is their elevated puppy pens. Not only does it provide the puppies with their own clean, temp. controlled room, but the windows allow people to, once again, see the puppy with its litter mates. Elevating them also keeps the puppies clear of diseases the adult dogs might carry. It is a safer, cleaner environment than chain-link cages and cold cement floors.

Molly's Place truly is dedicated to improving the lives of animals through rescue, education, spay/neuter, and adoption. Their staff is very knowledgable and know all the dogs by name. They can tell you all about someone's personality and are not shy to give you the pros and cons to help you make the right decision for your family.

They deserve all the help they can get and much more.
