The Molly’s Place staff shares a dream, a dream where all animals would have homes, and euthanasia would cease to exist. Our organization strives to end the abuse and suffering of pets, not only in our community, but everywhere. Molly’s Place, in the few short years that it has been open, has found homes for close to four thousand pets, most of whom would have otherwise been euthanized. We pull most of our dogs from kill shelters and puppy mills, bring them to our shelter, quarantine them to ensure good health, spay, neuter, and provide initial medical care such as vaccines and microchip, and then allow them to play freely in our unique free roaming facility until they find a home. Molly’s Place does not euthanize, and all pets have the opportunity to stay until they find the perfect home.
Molly's Place is an outstanding organization with all of the best intentions. All the criticism that is being spread around during this competition is unnecessary and detrimental to animal providers as whole. The entire idea of this zootoo competition is to promote public interest and knowledge of the serious overpopulation problem, not to tarnish other shelters. How petty.
Molly's Place is trying as hard as we can to save as many animals as we can. Please help us in this endeavor.
