Review Details
The CPAA is an umbrella organization that has many local shelters under it. They aren't a shelter, per se, so that is why I can't really comment on "cleanliness". They have great volunteers like Michelle who organizes Woofstock and their spay/neuter program. She is also an activist against cruelty and some of the awful pet stores in the area. Pat is great also. She used to take dog photos at the HSHA, was very outspoken, and her leaving was a great loss to the animals there but was CPAA's gainn. Another one of their volunteers came to the HSHA one Sunday and put 'Guardian Angel' donations on several of the "long timers" in the cat rooms. That was such a nice thing to do, especially when she could have justified spending the money to help CPAA instead. I truly wish the HSHA was more involved with them, but I think the past HSHA administration severed ties.
