From what I've seen and heard

I live in Western NY and visit my sister often. We both have a soft spot for animals and we both visit shelters whenever we can. Most of the time adopting,between the both of us we have 6 dogs and 5,no 6 cats ..my sister just adopted a cat from your shelter last week. Willie will live a good life. I'm supporting your shelter ,my shelter is second because I feel that even though we could use the money as well as any other group ...your shelter needs it more than ours. I've seen your kennels and I've seen better. You are doing well, for what you have but need an upgrade. You use to have a cat house which I've found out is no longer... and instead of dog walkers like we have ,you have to tie your dogs outside for fresh air
I'm not complaining about your shelter...I feel you are doing your best...I'm saying I'm hoping your shelter wins. I just wish that all shelters could be visited by the prize giver and have him see for himself what each does with what they have.
If the prize could be shared by the few who need it the most ..that would be a prize to us all and the animals would win. Best of luck !!!
