Review Details

My girlfriend volunteers at the shelter, so I started coming up to help out sometimes. I have been there a few times, and it is a very busy place. The people seem pretty nice, but you can tell they need more funding and stuff. I hate to see animals in cages, but at least I know that they will find homes some day. It sure beats the alternative!

i agree. the people are great, but the place definitely can use a makeover. let's hope they can get it!

I'm glad you get to come to the Washington Area Humane Society with your friend - as you can see they are in need of volunteers like you and your friend. Any time that you can spare will make a difference. Thanks for volunteering.
You are so right. We do need manpower and staffing, but with the volunteers walking the dogs for the staff, it helps a lot. Thanks a bunch.
