Pros: We got our Doxis here
Cons: No longer live in the area
In the fall of 1999 we went to the SPCA in Cattaraugus County to look for a dog. They let us into the dog area and this blonde blur came running from the back of his kennel to see me (my hubby walked past to look at a different dog). It was instant love on both sides of the gate.
Unforntunately, we could not take our little buff cocker home that day as he was on a 5 day hold. Think that would stop us?! Nope, we drove back the next morning (about 30 miles each way) and sat in the parking lot from about 8:30 am until the manager came about 2 hours later.
Our boy is is my heart dog and I will be forever grateful to this shelter for saving him and allowing me to take him home.
