My wife and I are foster pet care folk. It is a great program to help out the SPCA and the animals. It is a little bit of work, ok my wife does most of the clean-up, but well worth the reward. You get to have these adorable animals in your house and get to help them get up to snuff so that they can get adopted. It is hard sometimes bringing them back to the shelter, you grow attached to every batch you get, but it's nice hoping that the pet will get a permanent loving home. We have, as I'm sure all fosters have, adopted to our max in pets-2 dogs and 3 cats. Everyone at the SPCA is always helpful and glad to help you when you go there. They make the foster program much easier!
