I found the perfect dog for me here. 110 lbs. and very hyper. Staff had no problems letting me visit the dog before adoption. They answered all my question to the best of there ability. The dogs have a door in the back that allows them to enter, so as not to disrupt the cats or the activities at the front desk. Even when there was a error in the identity of the dog (female when it should of been male). The problem was fixed quickly, and the correct papers was sent the next day. I was also told that I could return the dog due to the error with no questions ask. This wasn't a problem for me and I was grateful for the opportunity. The only real problem for me is the hours. I would like to see longer hours even if its just for the summer.

the shelter tried longer hours summer of 2008 and had very few people take advantage of them - as with any not-for-profit organization they have to watch every penny. The longer hours on Friday evenings were discontinued in September.
