I love this shelter. They have all their pets listed on Petfinder.com so I could search for pets everywhere in my area. I found my Daisy there and they were great with myself and her when I came to visit. She had health problems and they were great about having her checked out before I adopted. They let me take the x-ray of her hip to show to my vet. If they weren't a no-kill shelter, my Daisy wouldn't have been there very long! When I came to visit, they let Daisy walk up to me, trailing her leash. There were a few cats running around, but they knew Daisy loves cats so didn't worry about any fighting. There were lots of volunteers, including members of a Girl Scout troop who come regularly. I plan to adopt from them for the rest of the time I live in the North Country.
